The research group Polymer Technology aims to promote higher education in plastics. This is done by giving courses, conduct research and to establish projects. The research group mainly does applied research on the processing and use of plastics. Sustainability and socially and environmentally oriented thinking are central.

New materials

The research focuses on the processing side of plastics. Process optimization and the application of new materials play a major role. Recycling, environmental management, energy conservation and the use of biomaterials are important research areas.

Business

The industry is always looking for skilled technicians. The research group Polymer Technology capitalizes on and strengthens its (international) competitiveness of the industry in the eastern Netherlands, but also abroad.

Polymer Science Park
